It could 100% go back to 50 in the short term. but the ceo needs the stock price to stay there as their only way to fund their cash burn is by issuing shares. If the stock price drops, the number of shares they need to issue will skyrocket, diluting your ownership. even if long term they become highly profitable if they issue share faster than they grow you will still be down. the only people saying positive things about quantum are the ceos, who are the biggest beneficiaries of stock price appreciation. all insiders were selling at 30. they're competing against the most profitable companies in the world. ionq specifically gets all their revenue from the university the ceo works at, and the federal government. No private companies are buying what they're selling. buying even at current prices is buying at higher prices on a price/revenue basis than Nvidia, sun microsystems, or Cisco. on the case of Cisco it reaced peak price to revenue 38 only after it had 850% revenue growth in 5 years. go calculate ionq's price to revenue, then ask me the same question.
