10baggerbamm OP BradASX : firing on all cylinders I mean if you listened to president Trump earlier today when he was speaking he talked about how drone warfare is so lethal, well how are you going to prevent drone warfare lethality ? you need counter drone technologies. so this company is in the right place at the right time and again they have a government contract it's not a huge one but they've already passed all the testing from the government military standpoint and now you see him getting awards and contracts from other countries so when President Trump gets his trillion dollars to build this golden dome you can bet your ass there's going to be a lot of counter drone technology around the perimeter of the United States. additionally from a military spending standpoint you're going to have to have counter drone technology in every vehicle every armored vehicle is going to have to have it if you have a group of foot soldiers counter drone technology is going to be as standard as a rifle.. so someone in your platoon is going to have to have counter drone technology to take out drones that are incoming. there's a lot of money that is going to be coming into this industry and I don't know if this is going to be the 800 lb gorilla at the end of the day this company but they certainly are going to be a huge huge winner.

stderr : Lockmart and other big defense contractors are certainly working on this stuff too, and lasers are not that easy to compete with when you are small. So I would expect various winners, including the big and the small

10baggerbamm OP stderr : the pie is going to be plenty big for everybody to get a slice.. and I hate to say this but when you get an industry that is evolving as raptly as this one you're going to have acquisitions done. you're going to have a big multinational or a very large defense contractor use their stock as collateral and acquire other companies that have a viable product they have patent protection they're just small and won't be able to scale very quickly because of limitations from manufacturing. so I think you're going to see in the coming year to 2 years many of these smaller companies get gobbled up by larger companies
